All about me!
Hello and welcome! I’m Cass and I live in North Queensland, Australia. Like most, I love the travel life and with covid travel restrictions, I thought it would be a good time to finally put together all my adventures. When researching how to start a blog, I read that every great blog has an ‘about me’ page! So welcome to mine! I am just your average happy go lucky girl who has a love for travelling to different places and experiencing different cultures. I have been to a few places in Australia and abroad and I still have the longest list in the world for the future.
What to expect from this blog
I am not much of a stick to the road traveler so you can expect to see a collection of kooky adventures. Lots of photography and action stuff. I love motor bikes, dark tourism, urban exploration and what ever else I have stumbled across along the way.
I love drone photography. My flying skills are definitely better these days as opposed to when I first got my drone in October 2018. I have a DJI Mavic Air, I have crashed it a number of times. I have had to replace it three times now and been through about six batteries from expanding and exploding. Saying that, it has gone over seas on many many flights and through many altitudes and atmospheres. So I think it has done a great job delivering the goods. I am definitely a fan of DJI products.
I am a shift worker, I work in emergency services, I tend to get blocks of days off. I try to explore locally when I have days off, always time to fit in a hike somewhere.
Up until the end of 2020 my adventures have been predominately solo or with who ever I stumble across along the way. Plenty of solo female travel tips and tricks to be offered. I have a man in my life now, Lawson, he is a delight. He also likes an adventure so follow along to see what places we discover together!
